The international audiovisual festival above the Polar Circle, which is rethinking the geographical remoteness, of Northern territories and traditional perception of darkness and light.

This time the festival team proposes to ponder over the endless conflict of opposites and forced balance between them. Darkness and light, North and South, streets and cabinets, modern and traditional, top-down hierarchy and horizontal interaction, center and periphery. We would like to highlight those equally distant points from each other to connect them further, marketing the single network which ties this living organism and makes it moving further.

Its not the emotional experience of geographical and cultural isolation, but critical overview of a home region, where Arctic is an essential part with its individual vertical Northern course on the one side and necessity of horizontal interaction with its northern neighbours on another side.
