The theme of the upcoming festival edition is Digital Traces – a research of new possibilities to interactions that are united by the digital environment and worldwide spread communities.

By connecting delinked entities around the globe with the digital traces we try to build a multifaceted network of artists, curators and curious people who develop an alternative vision of the North not only as industrial resource center but also as a fragile and comprehensive space.

Digital modes of people-to-people interactions influence the future cultural, political and social formation. Upcoming artistic commissioned works research the invisible connections inside the Northern communities and their links to the global as well as identify the digital traces that are going through the Northern territories despite all physical and mental borders.
